Creature Feature is a PvE endless wave-based shooter created on the Meta Horizon platform.
I joined during development to assist with both design and programming.
The lobby area was introduced later in development, once the technical capabilities allowed. It was designed to complement the existing combat arena, guiding players through the game basics while incorporating elements that encourage socialization, such as leaderboards and stats board.
Upon entering the world, we ensured that the weapon was one of the first things players noticed, as it's essential for enjoying the game. We also used signage and other elements to guide players' view, transforming the experience into a more linear one.
This is the game-over animation I created using scripts, without relying on animation states.
