I have a passion for making games, and I often find coding to be like a Soulslike experience—when your code finally works after hours of debugging, it’s the same triumphant feeling as defeating that Dark Souls boss. My journey began during my undergraduate studies in game programming, where I spent countless nights on assignments, sometimes due to a simple typo. This drive to learn more about game development eventually led me to pursue game design in my post-graduate studies.
I enjoy playing a variety of games, but roguelikes are among my favorites due to their strong focus on retention—games like The Binding of Isaac and Risk of Rain 2. I also have a deep appreciation for Soulslike games, which deliver an unparalleled sense of victory, such as Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, and Hollow Knight.
